Run Stroller Run was founded by Lara Coffee, a mom, entrepreneur and business executive, Ironman and athlete, community leader and world traveler, Lara is one of those people you ask to handle the impossible task knowing it will get done.
She’s the mother of two beautiful children, and they were the inspiration for starting Run Stroller Run.
Lara has co-founded and led two successful companies. Hugo Creative is a full-service design and branding agency where she was founding CEO. The SemperComm Foundation was a nonprofit that supported our troops at remote bases and locations, where she was Executive Director and was honored with two national Stevie Award nominations for Best New Company and Best Executive. In addition to running Run Stroller Run, she currently sits on the board of directors of Stars For Stripes, which brings celebrity entertainment to perform for the U.S. military at home and abroad, and is Vice President of Marketing and Communications for a very successful technology company.
She completed her first Ironman in 2013, and just try that with two young kids and a new business! But that’s nuttin’: she has been known to complete triathlons while pregnant and while breastfeeding (no, not during the race, silly), runs marathons for a social outlet, and was a Division I All-South for Women’s Soccer.
Lara has two master’s degrees (MBA from the University of North Carolina, MA in public communications from The American University), and graduated from Campbell University (Go Camels!).
She loves to travel, and would say that her favorite trip is her visit to Argentina a few years ago. Coincidentally, that was the last time she and her husband had time to talk without being interrupted.
